Welcome to<br/>Stiegelmeyer Germany
innovative hospital and care products.
The Stiegelmeyer Group stands for premium quality hospital and care products, developed specifically for the complex demands of medical practice. Our beds and furniture are used in hospitals, care facilities and for caring at home. In order to consistently maintain our high quality standards, we manufacture our core products ourselves.
Stiegelmeyer was founded in the East Westphalian town of Herford in the year 1900. In its over 115-year history, the family-run company has been at the vanguard of advancements in modern hospital beds and care beds. We have pioneered, for example, the development of machine-washable beds and mobilisation beds for many decades.
Puro
More than just a bed
The Puro combines a user-centred design with simple operation and innovative hygiene features. The MultiFlex+ safety sides with single-hand operation and soft lowering of the safety side posts allow quick access to the patient.
Our goal is to provide a hospital bed that, besides offering the usual basic advantages of the product, is perfectly tailored to the customer’s daily tasks. Working together with the customer, we also analyse the various work processes involving the bed, so that it can be used even more efficiently.
Evario
The smart hospital bed for all environments
Its intelligent modular system makes the Evario equally at home in any hospital unit. A variety of control options, safety side systems, castors and head and footboards are brought together to form a practical and attractive versatile hospital bed which addresses individual requirements while still providing excellent value for money.
Its high level of comfort and stylish appearance make it an ideal bed for exclusive rooms. It allows such a variety of decors and forms to be combined that the design spectrum ranges from cosy stylishness to contemporary clean lines.
Mobilo
The flexible stretcher
Stiegelmeyer’s Mobilo is one of the most versatile stretchers in the exacting field of hospital applications. Its well thought out design allows it to adapt quickly and easily to the varying requirements of complex hospital procedures.
The Mobilo’s clever design and comprehensive equipment ensure a high degree of safety and comfort for patients. This means that the stretcher can be used not only as a stretcher in the outpatients’ department, but also as a bed for day patients.
Vertica clinic
the mobilisation bed
One factor is particularly important for successful recovery: The patient must sit and stand up again as early as possible. Bed rest can sap the body’s strength. For every day that a patient spends in bed, it takes 3 days of exercise and training to regain the former energy level. The Vertica clinic from Stiegelmeyer is a mobilisation bed that provides ideal support for patients and nursing staff. Being bedridden often goes hand in hand with a fear of falls and painful movements.
The Vertica clinic dispels these worries by imitating the natural flowing movements of the body and bringing patients gradually into an upright sitting position. This boosts confidence and encourages the patient to stand up and venture the first few steps. It also makes it much easier for patients to transfer from the bed to a transport chair or wheelchair.
